Frequently Asked Questions

Got a question? We’re here to help.

  • Do I have to leave my home when you perform services?

In most situations, it will not be necessary to leave your home. Our treatment plans are family and pet friendly. If it becomes necessary for you to be out of your home during a treatment, we will make arrangements with you in advance.

  • What should I expect after treatment?

Often after our first treatment visit, if we’ve treated for ants or cockroaches, it is common to see more bugs than usual. This typically occurs because we have disrupted their habitat, disrupted their food supply, or they are all gathering around and traveling to the bait we’ve used, and that’s a good thing. After this initial spike in activity, you should notice a decrease. If we’ve treated for stinging insects, you may see a few of them flying around the areas we treated and/or the location we removed a hive from. This activity should subside in 3 days or so.

  • What can I expect; Reduction or Elimination?

It's impossible to guarantee you will never see another bug or insect in your home. However, our quarterly service will help ensure that is an infrequent occurence. If you're getting hives frequently on your structures, we can do a preventative treatment that discourages them from building. We have several treatment plans for spiders to reduce significantly the number you see indoors.

  • Why do your services often focus on the outside of my home?

As the saying goes, "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." Our services are designed to stop pests before they get into your home. We create a barrier around the perimeter of your home to decrease a pest's ability to gain entry. If pests gain access, we have treatment methods that effectively eliminate them.

  • How much will this cost?

We can give you a phone estimate based on the information you provide us before pest control treatment. If your pest issue requires more extensive treatment that we could not anticipate before evaluation based on the information we gathered over the phone, we will discuss it with you before we perform services.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

Whether you are a commercial or residential client, you can cancel anytime. Just let us know before your next treatment. We work with service agreements, not contracts. The service agreement does not bind or obligate you; instead, it clarifies our service's intentions.
